Complaining Thumbs
February 20th, 2010 by adminThe thumbs are complaining. They have seen and felt too much push pins that have to be pushed into the cork boards. They are useless for texting and other inane stuff that they are used to doing. They are definitely not used to pushing pins. The thumbs dream of magnetic memo boards that only require the slightest touch between finger, cute magnets, and board. They do not require the abuse that thumbs are required to go through with run down and barely-there cork. Actually, the pins go into the wall. There’s no cork left.
There are so many more things that one can do with those amazing memo boards. People will be glad for the change. How many times have you found yourself distracted from the reading material because of the Rorschach like design of the cork boards? A magnetic memo board, on the other hand, will just be smooth expanses of nothingness save for the pieces of paper on it. It’s the perfect stage for your carefully worded and typed up memo.
If you don’t want nothingness, the memo boards come in different upholstered designs to suit any organization’s personality. You can go with the traditional plain ones, the retro paisley design, or even contemporary sleekness. It would all depend on your taste and aesthetic. The task that your thumbs dread would then be something that they would look forward. Minimal to little pain with big rewards of a nice looking no-holes board. Your thumbs will thank you for it.
